ASVAB and Studying basics?
I am not that good at studying, and i last made a 49% on the asvab, im planning to make a 80% next time i take it. ( note i have only taken practice tests ). I did pretty poorly in all subjects but Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension… the others subjects are General Science , Arithmetic Reasoning , Mathematics Knowledge , Electronics Information, Auto & Shop Information , Mechanical Comprehension, Assembling Objects. I have the “ASVAB for Dummies” book, and “Master the ASVAB” 4th ed. from petersons with the CD flash cards and computerized test.
I have problems retaining when i read. What can i do to learn the material in the book and retain the information at LEAST long enough to take the test on the first thursday of this upcoming august ?
just keep going over whats in the books.they really help! study the word knowledge, paragraph comp, math. knowledge, and arithmetic reasoning. those matter the most to pass the asvab!
study as much as u can, take practice tests.
its hard for me to retain things too! but i go over it a couple of times and then it finally sticks! dont have the tv on or music on while studying itll distract you, try having someone test u too
